Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum

This historic house museum is devoted to the life of Dr. Liberty Hyde Bailey, father of modern horticulture, leader in agricultural education, preeminent botanist, world traveler, and prolific author. The main building is the old farmhouse where he was born in 1858 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Museum grounds include a carriage barn, smokehouse, gardens, and wildflower trail. Other displays and artifacts depict various aspects of South Haven's history.<br><br>Hours: Thursday - Monday, 1:00pm-5:00pm.<br>Winter hours: January and February - Saturday & Sunday only 1:00pm - 5:00pm.

Fontana Chamber Arts of Kalamazoo is dedicated to presentation of quality traditional and nontraditional chamber music performances, community outreach, and collaboration with other arts organizations. It presents approximately 50 events annually, including the Summer Music Festival, June 21-July 26, and the fall/winter season September-May. Fontana presents classical chamber music, jazz and nontraditional music, as well as educational and outreach programs including concerts for students, school presentations, and visits to community and neighborhood organizations.
