The School District includes 2,500 students Pre K-12. Voters recently approved a bond proposal which will provide a new 4-5 building, improved early elementary buildings, and a new auditorium. Notable high points include the teaching of reading, performing arts and dual enrollment (high school-college). The high school is NCA accredited.
Near the shore of Lake Michigan, St. Basil Catholic School offers faith-based education for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. The student/teacher ratio provides individual attention for the needs of each student.
