In conjunction with the exhibit "Catskills of the Midwest- the Jewish Resort Era in South Haven", and in cooperation with the First Hebrew Congregation, the Historical Association of South Haven will host a progressive traditional Jewish brunch on Sunday, June 26th from 11am-3pm. Brunch will be served at the Hartmann School, 355 Hubbard St., and ticket holders are encouraged to take the free trolly shuttle to First Hebrew Congregation Synagogue for desserts and entertainment by the Klezmedics, a Klezmer band playing traditional eastern European Jewish music. Tours of the Synagogue will also be offered. The trolly will run from 12-3pm.
Tickets to the brunch are $10 and can be purchased at HASH during regular hours (Tues & Wed 9am-3pm), at Lakeshore Paint/Artworks, or at the door. For more information on the brunch or the exhibit, visit the historical association's website at www.historyofsouthhaven.org.
