  • The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Growth of

Chamber Member G.O.A.L.S. Faith Based Hybrid Homeschool

South Haven, MI – May 19, 2025- The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to hold a ribbon cutting for G.O.A.L.S. Faith Based Hybrid Homeschool, celebrating their continued growth and new location.

Founded in 2021 by two homeschooling families, G.O.A.L.S. was created to offer a cooperative and personalized approach to homeschooling. The program combines parent-led education with expert tutors, allowing students to learn at their own pace while receiving one-on-one attention. This innovative hybrid model makes homeschooling more accessible by reducing the burden on parents and empowering families to actively guide their children’s education.

G.O.A.L.S. now operates out of Bethel Baptist Church and serves students from kindergarten through high school. Their program is built on flexibility, strong moral values, and a deep sense of community. Tutors work closely with students to meet their individual learning needs, while parents remain involved every step of the way, fostering transparency and collaboration.

In addition to academics, G.O.A.L.S. is committed to community engagement. Students regularly participate in service projects such as visiting residents at Laurel Oaks Retirement Center, supporting food and clothing drives for We Care Community Resource Center, and taking part in educational field trips to local organizations like True Blue Farms, Bumbleberry Acres, Truth Skate Church, and the Michigan Maritime Museum. They even joined in South Haven’s Ice Breaker Festival, building and entering a cardboard sled, taking home the Choice Award for best sled!

G.O.A.L.S. currently has a few openings for new students. To learn more or apply, visit     www.goals-homeschool.org.
