South Haven, MI – May 29, 2025- The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly re-launched MyTown Ace Hardware, located in downtown South Haven. Formerly known as Wolverine Ace Hardware, the store is now under the ownership of Matthew Jamrog, President and Owner of MyTown Stores, Inc., who brings more than 40 years of retail experience and a record of operational excellence.

Since acquiring the store on May 28, 2025, Jamrog and his team have implemented a variety of updates and improvements designed to enhance the shopping experience for the South Haven community. The remodeled store features polished floors, new lighting, and a refreshed interior layout to make shopping easier and more enjoyable. Product offerings have been expanded across multiple departments. The power equipment and tools section now includes full-line STIHL products, lawn mowers, snow blowers, and an expanded selection from Milwaukee, EGO, DeWalt, and Craftsman. The grilling section has been updated and expanded with Weber, Big Green Egg, Traeger, and new RecTeq smokers. The hardware and fasteners area has grown by approximately 40 percent, including a wider selection of metric and chrome options. The paint department now offers a full line of Benjamin Moore products, including new oil-based exterior products and Scuff-X trim paints, and the key cutting program has been upgraded with new blanks and a computerized cutter.

Jamrog, who founded MyTown Stores, Inc. with his wife Stephanie in 2016, currently operate a Pinnacle-level Ace Hardware store in Dorr, Michigan, achieving Ace Hardware’s highest service level for nine consecutive years. Prior to that, he held executive roles at Rylee’s Ace Hardware and Meijer, gaining extensive expertise in store operations, human resources, and retail management.

“My goal is to build upon the history of outstanding customer service and continuously improve while expanding the products and services we provide,” said Jamrog. “We strive for excellence in all we do, serving our community by putting customers’ needs first and helping wherever we can through innovative problem solving.”

The store has also expanded its hours to better serve the community, now open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MyTown Ace Hardware continues to serve local homeowners, DIYers, and contractors with a full range of hardware, paint, tools, outdoor living, and seasonal products, all backed by knowledgeable staff ready to help with any project.
