The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce Celebrates a New Chapter at

Victoria Resort Bed & Breakfast and Cottages

South Haven, MI – September 23, 2026- The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the history and continued growth of Victoria Resort with a ribbon cutting ceremony welcoming new owners Holly and Allison and celebrating the next chapter for a South Haven property with more than a century of hospitality.

The story of the property began in 1924, when Albert and Anna Glassman opened Glassman’s Resort. For generations, guests have visited the property for many of the same reasons visitors come to South Haven today, to experience Lake Michigan, enjoy the community and spend meaningful time together.

Over the years, the name has changed, South Haven has grown and the way people vacation has evolved, but the tradition of welcoming guests to the lakeshore has remained.

As the current owners of Victoria Resort, Holly and Allison have embraced that history while continuing to build on what has made the property special. Their vision is not to reinvent the resort, but to honor its past while creating new ways for guests to relax, play, gather and enjoy their time in South Haven.

Located on three peaceful acres near Lake Michigan and downtown South Haven, Victoria Resort offers 10 bed-and-breakfast rooms and seven private cottages. Guests can enjoy a heated pool, pickleball, a sauna, bicycles, outdoor gathering spaces and more.

Victoria Resort’s connection to South Haven extends beyond its property. Holly and Allison are committed to building relationships with local businesses and encouraging guests to explore the community from downtown shops and restaurants to local attractions and the Lake Michigan shoreline.

The Chamber was pleased to celebrate this milestone alongside Holly, Allison, their team, and Chamber Ambassadors. The ribbon cutting marked not only the resort’s continued growth, but also its commitment to being an active part of the South Haven community.

With more than 100 years of hospitality behind it, Victoria Resort is continuing a tradition of welcoming guests to South Haven while creating new opportunities for visitors to make memories for years to come.
