The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Member

El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant

South Haven, MI – December 4, 2025- The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant as the newest member of the Chamber. Founded by brothers José Pérez and Luis Pérez, El Sombrero brings the flavors and traditions of Guanajuato, Mexico, to the Bangor community.

Built from years of experience in the restaurant industry, El Sombrero is a family-owned business dedicated to serving authentic Mexican cuisine made with care and passion. From tacos and burritos to quesadillas, fajitas, and menudo, every dish is crafted with quality ingredients and a commitment to the flavors of home.

“Our mission is simple,” said José Pérez. “We want every guest to feel welcomed and connected, like they’re walking into our family’s kitchen. Joining the Bangor community means so much to us, and we hope to give back, support local events, and become a place where families gather, celebrate, and create memories.”
