  • The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Member

    Mill Hall

The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of Mill Hall as a new Chamber member. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at their historic location in Bangor, Michigan, marking the beginning of their membership and celebrating this distinctive venue with community members and event organizers.

Mill Hall is housed in a beautifully restored historic structure originally constructed in 1873 as the Bangor Elevator, a timber-frame grain elevator that played an important role in the region’s agricultural heritage and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, the building has been thoughtfully transformed into a premier event venue that blends historic character with modern functionality.

The venue offers more than 5,600 square feet of flexible event space. The main floor features a large, open layout with abundant natural light, original hardwood floors, exposed beams, and distinctive barn doors that highlight the building’s historic charm. Amenities include a dedicated bar area, restrooms, and a catering kitchen designed to support a wide range of events.

A second-floor loft provides approximately 1,600 square feet of additional space, ideal for smaller gatherings, preparation areas, or breakout activities. Original grain chutes have been creatively repurposed into architectural features and private nooks, adding character and unique photo opportunities throughout the venue.

Located in downtown Bangor, Mill Hall is a short drive from the shores of Lake Michigan and surrounding communities. The venue hosts weddings, corporate events, family reunions, and community celebrations, offering a memorable setting rooted in history.
