DESCRIPTION:Step into Summer Trail Run at Van Buren State Park. The 5k run and Kids Dash will be held on Saturday June 13th at Van Buren State Park 23960 Ruggles Rd. South Haven.\n\nRegister online at www.runsignup.com or mail registration form and payment to Maple Grove Elementary\, Attn: Heather Laraway\, 72399 12th Ave. South Haven\, MI 49090.\n\nAll vehicles entering the Van Buren State Park must have a recreation passport. They will be available for $11 and will be valid at any Michigan State Park. No dogs are allowed on the 5K course\, but are allowed into the State Park. Strollers on the 5K trail are not recommended. This 5K run/walk will start at 9am and will be a hand-timed event. The Kids Dash will be approximately 200 meters and we will meet at the 5K start line at 10am. This is not your typical 5K and will include trail running/walking through the picturesque trails along Lake Michigan. This race will challenge you all while enjoying the great outdoors and this gorgeous State Park. Snacks and refreshments will be provided after the races.
