    Assistant Manager for RV Resort
    Seeking an Assistant Manager for Hidden Ponds RV Resort in South Haven, MI, to supervise calls and make customer reservations, oversee staff, work on resort priorities and always maintain an exemplary positive customer service standard.
    Basic Job Responsibilities (not inclusive):

    • Reservations – this is an important role requiring great customer service and a pleasant and competent phone presence. You will represent and reflect the resort to our customers on the telephone.
    • Work on a computer – responding to emails, and using basic software programs like Word and Excel.
    • Social Media Updates – keeping our social media sites current and interesting.
    • Math – Basic math aptitude is important and factors into quoting prices and similar tasks.
    Basic Skills Required:
    • A background in tourism, hospitality or customer service are all strong assets. Our customers are our business and you are a front line representative of the resort.
    • Computer proficiency is necessary.
    • Competency and experience posting on social media is a plus, allowing you to monitor our social media sites.
    Joining our Team makes you part of our family! Hidden Ponds is an expanding 74 site campground in Southwest Michigan, with Lake Michigan five minutes away. We host long-term, seasonal and short-term guests. The Assistant Manager will work cooperatively with Ownership providing direction to staff with both customer service goals and campground objectives.
    The right manager will easily build positive relationships with both staff and customers, be a strong leader and motivator and have a desire to exceed expectations. 
    The person hired for this position needs strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities, monitor progress, react with grace to changing circumstances and assist in both problem solving and decision making.
    This unique position can actually work remotely (if desired) during the winter months of mid-November through mid-April, however, we are open May 1 through November 1 and you must be ‘on-site’ during those months.
