ASSISTANT TO DIRECTOR OF CONTENT AND PROGRAMMING
Description
You will assist the Director of Content and Programming in oversight of content and programming on a variety of digital and broadcast brands. Work with brand leaders, content, and engagement teams to grow the brands and execute events and promotions.  Someone who would ultimately grow into the director’s position. This individual will work closely with the current Director and Brand Leaders in day-to-day management of people, products, and content.
This individual would ideally be from, or once lived in Southwest Michigan.  Maybe once employed in a Mid-West Family market.  The person must embrace our excitement for where the industry is and where it is going and embrace the digital world ‘first’ then radio brands.
Must bring demonstrated experience of at least 3 years to the position, be able to lead, coach and teach eventually becoming the Director of Content.  Someone with morning or afternoon drive show experience that understands what it takes to build personalities that generate local content.  Someone who leads by example curating great content through their own on-air performance and podcasts.
The position is full-time in-office with a very competitive compensation package including bonus and benefits, medical and 401k.  Must be ready to learn/train content generation, social media management, video, podcasting, and music management using Mediabase and Music Master. Data management is a real plus.
Education
Degree in Broadcasting/Communications preferred, but not required.
Duties
Assist Director of Content in day-to-day management and coaching of brand leaders and content teams for all brands.  Work with Engagement Director and Fulfillment team to insure proper execution of events and promotions.  You will also lead by example by assuming the role of ‘personality’ curating/creating a variety of audio, video and social content while hosting a show on one or more radio brands.  Other duties as assigned.
