Established in 1989, Adapt Technologies Inc. provides patient transfer equipment and ease of care systems to customers throughout the private, primary or extended care system.
The installer position requires use of hand tools and small electrical tools to attach Uni-Strut type steel structure to a number of overhead structural components. Ladder work required as well as knowledge and comfort working in the construction field. Previous construction background helpful and will train for specifics. Installer/installer helpers should be comfortable working with tools such as drills (hammer and otherwise) impact wrenches, circular/mitre box saws and portable band saws.
Much of the installation work is completed in hospitals so presenting oneself to staff and co-workers in a professional manner is required. Due to the scope of work occasional out of town travel will be required in company owned vehicles. Valid drivers license and the ability to learn from training and work well with other trades present is essential.
Starting wage during training will be approximately $12-13/hr with increases achieved according to ability. Lead installer position can be upwards of $20/hr.
