    Wine Consultant/Assistant Tasting Room Manger

    OBJECTIVE -- As the Wine Consultant/Assistant Manager, your objective is to deliver an exceptional experience to all guests that translates into sales of our products. The goal will be assisting the Tasting Room Manager (Allison Rick) in the following areas:
    1. Sales—expert knowledge in Gravity’s wines and story; sharing of this information with guests, selling wine.
    2. Team Leader -- Assist in training, guidance, and leadership of other team members.
    3. Facilities -- Proper opening and closing, cleaning, and maintaining a functioning Tasting Room and surrounding outdoor area that “wows!” guests.
    4. Supplies -- Involved in making sure wines and ciders are stored and served appropriately, maintaining an adequate supply of all products for sale and needed in daily operations.
    5. Social Media
    6. Other related activities deemed necessary by Manager.
    SCHEDULE – Work schedule will fluctuate with the season but will ALWAYS INCLUDE WEEKENDS. In general:
    Winter: Friday-Sunday
    Rest of year: Friday - Sunday & 2 weekdays
    TIME OFF -- A total of 10 days off during your first year on the job can be used for any reason, i.e. vacation, sickness, personal day, etc. Vacation days must be requested a minimum of 30 days in advance.  A maximum of 1 Saturday& 1 Sunday off per quarter will be allowed.
    • $15.00
    • Tips: you will most likely receive some gratuity
    • Commissions
    • Total take home will be approximately $20/hour including all wages, sales commissions, and tips.
