Part-time Seasonal Campground cleaning (10-30 hours a week, days will vary however
Sundays are a must)

$12-15/hour based on experience – Starting end of March

We are a family owned and operated campground located in South Haven, MI. Our campground
is located right on the Kal-Haven Trail and offers many different styles of camping! This year we
are anticipating some growth and are going to be hiring for a few different positions this season.
We are planning on hiring a lead/primary cleaner that would be paid a bit more per hour and
work between 25-30 hours a week. In addition to the lead cleaner, we would hire two other
part time cleaners hours between 10-20 per week.
 We provide all of the items needed to do the job including EPA recommended chemicals,
rags, bags, mops, steam mops, etc. We feel this keeps everything fair and to our
cleanliness standards.

Daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
 Be able to provide a high level of efficient cleaning in camping cabins, homes, and bath
facilities (following a checklist)
 Answering guest questions, or finding someone who can answer guest questions
 Using a radio to inform about issues or when done on a task
 Driving a UTV on property
 Folding and sorting sheet sets in down time
Experience/skill required
 High level attention to detail
 Friendly and upbeat attitude
 Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs
To give you a brief overview of our timeline in early spring is when we deep clean our vacation
homes, cabins and the bath house. Then we go into more normal cleaning hours/days; ramping
up for holidays. We try to deep clean the cabins at least once per month in the peak months as
more people are utilizing the space. November 1st is our last day in operation, however we may
need cleaning help until that second week (probably not but want to give full view).
