25 ton or higher Masters Merchant Mariner Credential (Required)
The MMM is seeking several qualified, enthusiastic captains to join us for the 2023 season on one or more of our historic and replica On-Water Fleet. The Museum has 5 on-water vessels that function as floating exhibits and will take to the waters with passengers beginning May of this year. Vessels requiring captains include replica Truscott river launch Lindy Lou, 1941 USCG Motor Lifeboat 36460, and 1929 Chris Craft Cadet Merry Time. You may have the chance to captain one or more of these incredible boats, so apply today!
We are looking for captains who hold a current 25 ton or higher Masters Merchant Mariner Credential. Boat handling ability, dependability, attention to safety and good people skills are essential. All captains must be participants of a random drug testing program and have current first aid/CPR certification. This is a seasonal position that runs May through September. Part-time and full-time positions available. Weekends and some holidays required. This is your chance to captain a boat you could only dream of owning and get paid too!
