    Hideaway Gaming Ribbon Cutting

The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome new member Hideaway Gaming with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, October 5th.

Hideaway Gaming is a new store in South Haven where customers can buy, sell and trade used and new video games and systems, board games and card games. Located at 250 Broadway, Unit 4, Hideaway Gaming opened October 5, and will be open every day, year ‘round.

Hideaway Gaming seeks to be a resource for gamers throughout the region, as a one-stop shop for finding new games, retiring old ones, and building a community of gamers through events, tournaments and gatherings. They have a large inventory of games available to try in the store, and the staff are knowledgeable about many genres and systems. Whether you’re into video games, card games or board games, Hideaway Gaming has something for you!

“It’s only going to get bigger,” says owner Aaron Mooneyhan, “our inventory and events will be community-driven, and will expand and change based on customer participation and feedback.” Mooneyhan and his partner, Alex Gonzalez, have been toying with the idea of opening a gaming shop for a while now, and South Haven was clearly an underserved market. “We want Hideaway to be a place for people to hang out, try new games and get recommendations from people with similar interests,” Gonzalez says.
