The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome new member Paw Paw Flashes with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.
Paw Paw Flashes is a well-known weekly shoppers' guide, produced under parent company, Vineyard Press, which also publishes The Courier-Leader weekly newspaper. Distribution is currently to over 16,200 homes, and grows each week. Coverage includes all of eastern Van Buren County, with free home delivery to Paw Paw, Lawton, Mattawan, Lawrence, Gobles, and Decatur, and often extends into South Haven and surrounding communities, as well as Oshtemo,Texas Corners, and Schoolcraft in Kalamazoo County. The publication is also available to pick up free at more than 100 store drop sites across the same areas.
Paw Paw Flashes is a family-owned business, overseen by brother and sister team, Steve Racette, General Manager, and Robin Racette Griffin, Editor. Steve and Robin’s father purchased the Flashes in 1969, and operations now include Steve’s daughter, Ashley Racette Moore, among the staff of 11 additional employees.
