The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome new member The Station at South Haven with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
The Station at South Haven offers a relaxed, outdoor dining environment that epitomizes the best of the South Haven experience. Located within walking distance of the beach, at the corner of Eagle and Kalamazoo Streets, it features great Mexican food, music, and an excellent selection of margaritas, tequila, and beer. Owner Geoff Heekin described the renovations that took the building back to its original heritage from decades ago when it was a gas station. “The inside bar area holds remnants of a bygone era that were incorporated by our designer and that provide a nostalgic feel”, says Heekin.
The Station at South Haven features expertly crafted Mexican fare from Chef Jarrod Benjamin that includes delicious salads, a wide array of taco variations, sandwiches, chips and salsa, and a unique favorite - Mexican street corn.
Hours through November are 11am – 11pm Tuesday through Saturday, 11am – 8pm Sunday, and closed on Mondays. To learn more about The Station at South Haven, visit their website at https://www.thestationatsouthhaven.com/ or stop into the restaurant at 402 Eagle St. downtown South Haven.
