The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome new member The Luckystone LLC with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 14.
Luckystone is a vacation rental home located on the east side of North Shore Dr. in South Haven near Packard Park and Oak Street Beach.
The Randall family owns the home and the seven siblings gather in South Haven every summer as they have all of their lives. The family has deep roots in South Haven, beginning with their great grandparents, who built their home at 317 North Shore in 1900. That home is still in the family, and as the clan has grown, other relatives have purchased some of the neighboring properties. The Randall siblings purchased The Luckystone cottage across the street from their great grandfather’s house in the early 2000s. The extended family travels from all over the country to meet in South Haven each year, and now the sixth generation is enjoying Lake Michigan and all that South Haven has to offer.
The Luckystone cottage was built in the late 1800s and has charming architecture, beachy décor and a cozy, welcoming feel. The main house easily sleeps 12, the attached efficiency is great for a single person or couple, and the guest house in back sleeps an additional 4 people.
