The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome new member Three Blondes Brewing with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 12th.
Three Blondes Brewing is South Haven’s newest restaurant and microbrewery, opening to the public this Thursday, June 14th! The “three blondes” are sisters, Amanda, Carrie and Megan, who are the daughters of local business owners Ray and Linda VanDerZee, and grew up in South Haven.
Three Blondes Brewing is located at 1875 Phoenix Rd, attached to VanDerZee Motorplex. The new restaurant can accommodate around 200 people, and currently features 6 craft beers on tap, which will increase to 12 within the next couple of weeks. Food offerings include a variety of pub-style appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza and burgers, all sporting names influenced by South Haven and the VanDerZee family.
Three Blondes will be open 7 days a week through the summer, and will remain open year-‘round. Guests can enjoy the industrial look of the main level, step out onto the outdoor patio, or seek out the comfortable “library” upstairs, which features 1960s furniture salvaged from the South Haven High School library.
