A Woman’s Place is Under the Dome – Thursday, March 23rd at 7:00PM
In honor of Women’s History Month, the Historical Association will be hosting a lecture by Valerie Marvin, the Historian & Curator of the Michigan State Capitol, entitled “A Woman’s Place is Under the Dome” focused on the life of Eva McCall Hamilton, Michigan’s first female legislator. The talk will include the fight for woman’s suffrage which began in Michigan’s first Capitol in Detroit in 1846.
This program will take place on Thursday, March 23rd at 7:00PM at our Hartman School building and is free and open to the public.
