The Liberty Hyde Bailey Board of Directors is honored to hold the first Liberty Hyde Bailey 2018 Fall Conference on Saturday, September 22 in South Haven, MI. at the South Haven High School. The purpose of the Conference is to celebrate Dr. Bailey and his life, work, philosophy, and legacy.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Douglas Tallamy who wrote the book "Bringing Nature Home". He is a professor of Entomology at the University of Delaware.Thirteen others will be presenting, including those from Michigan State University, Western Michigan University, and Notre Dame, all with an interest in the environment. Besides the Saturday Conference, a Friday, September 21st Agri Tour concluding with an evening at the Bailey Museum, which will include food and drink, music, an art exhibit, and the opportunity to relax and enjoy others attending the Conference
