Wangdangdoodle! A Roaring 20s-themed Women's Only Weekend (WOW) will take place in South Haven November 9-12, 2017. Mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends are invited for an ladies-only weekend of memories, laughs, and good times. Under the new Alive Anytime! events banner, the South Haven/Van Buren County Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced the WOW schedule of events.
A Roaring 20s theme promises fun and frolics for dames of all ages. Varied entertainment is in store with a trivia and open mic night, a comedy and dueling pianos night, and a Roaring 20s night featuring live music by Canada's Sweetheart of Swing, Alex Pangman and her Alleycats, and a dance contest to boot. There are other highlights too, such as an in-town live Murder Mystery, Garter Hunt, and a glam photo opp. The ladies will also enjoy four free days of open access to the beautiful, state-of-the-art Bronson South Haven Wellness Center with special classes. Specials are also in store at all of South Haven’s lodging, boutique, spa, and dining partners. A delicious brunch will end the weekend.

The Great Bump-off Murder Mystery

Participants will interrogate suspects and witnesses throughout town as they work towards solving who committed the crime.
Clam’s Garter Hunt & What’s a Dame to Do? – WOW Card Game Contest
Throughout Town, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Special garters will be hidden in stores, attractions, and restaurants throughout town.
Putting on the Ritz Wine Tasting Tour
Wineries and Pubs in Town, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
South Haven’s local brews and wines will be sampled, and participants will enjoy special discount offers.
Making Santa’s Darb

A holiday-themed Christmas Ornament Workshop by the South Haven Center for the Arts.
Sally’s Juice Joint: A Night of Wangdangdoodle

Featuring “Canada’s Sweetheart of Swing,” Alex Pangman and Her Alleycats. Attendees are invited to dress in their favorite Roaring 20s attire and glam it up – as they’ll be in the running for the best costume grand prize: a full boat charter aboard the tall ship Friends Good Will at a value of $1,000. There is also a Charleston Dance Contest – featuring a $500 first prize.
