New Member Bean Box Coffee

The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome new member Bean Box Coffee recently.  Owners Chris and Andrea Muller have done a lot of travelling, and finding the perfect cup of coffee along the way was always a priority. Self-appointed aficionado’s, they discovered a small-batch coffee roaster in Georgia that produced small-batch beans for the perfect cup, inspiring the couple to return to Andrea’s hometown and turn her love for coffee into a business.  In February 2022, Bean Box Coffee opened and has enjoyed steady growth since. 

The two main ingredients that inspire customer loyalty at the Bean Box is the perfectly smooth cup of coffee, skillfully made with fresh small-batch roasted beans, and the bright, cheerful and welcoming atmosphere where it is served.  Bean Box Coffee serves many coffee drinks, including house-steeped cold brews along with sweet-cream chillers, teas and freshly squeezed lemonade.  They can create many specialty drinks, with over 30 flavor options, and have dairy alternatives in both oat and almond milks.  Specialty baked goods are created by Andrea, such as her scratch made carrot cake, along with homemade soups and daily lunch specials.    

The support of family, including the Mullers 5 children, and close friends has been a huge help from the beginning stages.  The couple’s youngest daughter Kali is the first smile you see when walking in the door, and has helped in all aspects from remodeling and planning, to currently being a full-time barista at the shop, while their oldest daughter Katie is on site part-time.  The community support and kindness shown to them has been one of the most special aspects of opening the Bean Box to the Muller Family.  “The relationships that have evolved from customers to new friends have been such a blessing to us”, states Andrea Muller.
