Our keynote speaker for 2016 will be Bob Jacquart, CEO of Jacquart Fabric Products based in Ironwood, MI, exclusive producers of the iconic Stormy Kromer hat. His personal motto, "never stop growing," is reflected in the work of his company.
Following Jacquart, Brenda VanderMeulen will present "From Managing to Leading, Creating a Shared Vision". VanderMeulen began teaching at Hope College in spring 2015, and is a consultant who specializes in strategic planning and human resources. In her consulting she works with small to mid-sized companies.
Rounding out the program, Attorney Elizabeth Wells Skaggs will present an informative session focusing on employment issues facing businesses today. Elizabeth Wells Skaggs is a partner with the Labor and Employment Practice Team at Varnum Law. She has counseled business clients on a variety of matters affecting the workplace.
