Fast paced vacation rental office is currently seeking qualified individual(s) to join the team as the Vacation Rental Maintenance Coordinator. This position is responsible for scheduling maintenance and repairs work orders with maintenance personnel and 3rd party vendors associated with homes within the company’s portfolio of vacation rental homes.
Duties Entail but Not Limited to:
- Schedule and follow through on maintenance items with Repair Contractors (both in-house and 3rd party).
- Update maintenance and repair services through software and database.
- Assist Operations Manager as needed.
Necessary Qualifications
- Written and oral communication related to home repair and maintenance activities which are coordinated with other staff, owners, guest and contractors.
- Establishing hands-off and coordination of activities which may occur under a peer’s supervision.
- Technical understanding of home functions including smart home features.
- Basic troubleshooting of home features via telephone and in person.
- Organization and directing others in work management efficiency.
Work Environment
- Work activities are performed both in the office and in the field, which includes portfolio homes. The company does have vehicles that are provided.
- The company provides services 24/7. However, non-emergencies are typically handled between 9:00am - 6:00pm. The Vacation Rental Home Services Coordinator will have a 5-day work schedule which will include weekends, particularly in the Summer months.
- After training, emergency on-call would be initiated, with additional compensation for emergency on-call situations.
