Hospitality Host

The Fields of Michigan is a Glamping resort set on a 30 acre farm in South Haven, Michigan.
The Fields is known for its exceptional service and unique accommodations and amenities including, 12 lush canvas tents and 11 field cottages, thoughtfully styled and curated experiences, The Fields Spa, a working blueberry farm, and the space and service for a truly luxurious yet grounded stay. This is achieved through a thoughtful staff that is dedicated to giving each guest an exceptional Fields experience.

Hospitality Host

This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is fun, positive-minded, passionate about hospitality and is truly energized in creating experiences. Must have an eye for detail and excellent communication style and be a true team player in order to provide the high standards of service and a great guest experience. With the guest full experience from arrival to departure under the care of a Hospitatliy Host, they work intimately with and under the General Manager to deliver a stellar guest stay.

• Experience within the hospitality industry
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Ability to understand and follow instruction
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Creative with an eye for detail
• Adaptable in various situations
• Professional manner and attitude
• Approachable, friendly with strong communication skills at all times
• Independent leadership skills and the ability to set priorities and work within time constraints
• Well versed on all aspects of The Fields including The Fields Spa, The Fields General Store and dedicated to upholding The Fields standard

Requirements:

• Must be 21
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• This is a full-time role within The Fields season May 1st-November 5th
• Hire date and Fields training starts April 15th (part-time hours prior to May 1st)
• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours, often outside
• Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 pounds
• Monitor weekly food, beverage, and maintenance stock ordering
• Ensure The Fields Health and Safety policies is adhered to at all times
• Fulfill any ad hoc duties as directed by your superior

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
