    Summary

    Martha’s Vineyard, voted South Haven’s favorite Bed & Breakfast for two consecutive years, is seeking an experienced housekeeper to join our team and ministry. This is a full-time (30-35 hours/week, year-round) position. The right candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in residential and/or lodging housekeeping, exceptional attention to detail, and a heart for service and hospitality to help guests create memorable experiences.

    Essential Duties

    · Prepare common areas and guest rooms for check-ins. This includes (but is not limited to) vacuuming and/or mopping; dusting; preparing rooms; setting up special packages.

    · Refresh rooms for guests who are staying multiple days. This includes (but is not limited to) making the bed, taking away trash and dirty dishes, removing and replacing used towels, tidying bathroom.

    · Clean rooms after guests check out. This includes (but is not limited to) stripping and remaking beds; removing trash and dirty dishes; dusting; vacuuming and/or mopping; cleaning bathrooms; laundering sheets, towels and other items as necessary.

    · Clean and stock kitchenette and dining room.

    · Stock cleaning supplies and amenities.

    · Notify Owners of necessary repairs and/or replacements.

    · Assist with breakfast service.

    · Assist guests as necessary.

    · Yard work and other maintenance.

    · Other duties as assigned.

    Education/Experience

    · Three years of professional residential and/or lodging housekeeping experience.

    Pay and Other Information

    · Work five days a week, including weekends. Schedule could change weekly depending on occupancy.

    · Wage is based on experience starting from $16/hour.

    Pay: From $16.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
