Saturday, April 4th, 10 -11:45 at the Bailey Museum
Dr. Duke Eisner is an expert entomologist recently retired from MSU and lovingly known as "The Bug Guy". Dr. Eisner will focus on habitat resources for native insects and understanding their predators. There will be native insect and predator specimens on display for you to be able to better identify each in your landscape. It will be interesting to have a professional entomologist and MSU alumnus to give us professional insights!
Dr. Duke Eisner has the reputation of being an insect meister. Much admired for his knowledge, and a much sought after speaker. He holds a Ph.D. in bugs (Entomology) from Pennsylvania State University and MS and BS Entomology degrees from MSU. He is recently retired after 30 years’ experience as an MSUE extension agent Duke Eisner has an enduring love for the million or so species of insects that creep, burrow, fly and swim about on our fair planet. We are fortunate to have him speak at the museum.
