Experience the benefits of forest bathing while taking time to relax, unwind, and find a few moments of peace. Join us for an hour or so of slow walking and gentle, guided meditative activities to learn about how the forest can help us heal and reduce stress.
What to expect:
When doing a wellness walk or a forest bathing session you can expect to walk short distances, and stand or sit for about an hour or so. Some sessions do go longer if the group requires more time to complete their meditation and activities. Dress appropriate for that day's weather, and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You will be invited to sit on the forest floor or on logs if you wish. In good weather and conditions, you are invited to try barefoot walking during grounding exercises.
What to bring:
Please bring a water bottle, a journal and pen, and a towel to sit on or in case your feet or shoes get muddy. Bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and a willingness to try something new for your mental and physical wellbeing! Light snacks and tea will be available for you.
