New Year's Eve in the Haven

Time: 7 PM to Midnight

Bring in 2019 in the heart of downtown South Haven. We are clearing the streets, so you can mingle in the square and stay up late enjoying music, dancing, ice skating, special features from local restaurants, party favors and a special midnight surprise!

Schedule of Events

Party in the Streets of South Haven Downtown:  Beginning at 4:30 PM  We’re closing off Phoenix and Center Streets to take over downtown South Haven to ring in the New Year with a disc jockey and music filling the streets, dancing and fun!

Ice Skating Downtown, Pavilion Rink:  4:30 - 7:30 PM  Start out the evening with free ice skating! Bring your own skates and enjoy the ice rink for a free family fun night (no charge for the first 250 skaters). If you don’t have your own skates, some will be available for rent.  

Youth Celebration, South Haven Center for the Arts:  6:00 - 8:00 PM  The South Haven Center for the Arts has some family fun planned for those with young ones who want to celebrate the New Year!  Crafts, music, refershments and an "early midnight" ball drop - at 8:00 PM.  

Family Friendly Fun Downtown - Local downtown organizations come together to bring family friendly activities including outdoor movies! Music and Party!

Downtown South Haven Restaurants Downtown - South Haven will be filled with music and dancing in the streets - live DJ right up until midnight! Come into downtown restaurants for live music and fun as you wait to ring in the New Year! Special party favors, appetizers and drinks from 9:30 - 11:30 pm.

Street Performers - Enjoy performance artists as they stroll around downtown awaiting the stroke of midnight to fall!

Beach Ball Drop at Midnight Downtown - What’s a New Year’s Eve Celebration on the lake without beachballs! Hundreds of illuminated beach balls will be dropped into the city streets at midnight!
