This first concert in the 2021-2022 Scott Club Concert Series will feature Kalamazoo pianist Grayson Nye. Grayson is a member of the Last Gasp Collective, Fake Baseball, Saxquatch and the Bridge Band, and recently has joined a band fronted by The Lasso. While he performs in many groups, Grayson's background is in jazz. He will be joined by bassist John Hébert, who is currently a part of the Fred Hersch Trio. The two will play a mix of jazz standards as well as originals in a unique duo setting between piano and bass. The concert will be performed live, with the audience size in conformance with current guidelines, and will also be streamed on Scott Club Facebook Live and Foundry Hall Twitch channel www.twitch.tv/foundryhall. This concert, which is a collaboration between the South Haven Scott Club and Foundry Hall, is sponsored in part by grant funding from The Greater South Haven Area Community Foundation and Entergy Palisades Power Plant.
