The South Haven Theatre Series is proud to announce its 2026 lineup, marking its ninth year of bringing entertaining and thought-provoking live theater to residents and visitors. Each show features acclaimed performers highlighting unique historical or cultural people and/or events.
The Spirit of Harriet Tubman
Written and performed by Leslie McCurdy
Harriet Tubman was an American slave who rescued herself from slavery. She returned numerous times to lead other slaves to freedom in Canada, played a major role in the Underground Railroad, and served as a spy for the Union Army. Learn about this incredible woman, her struggles and amazing accomplishments, as she shares her life stories from as early as age 5.
Leslie McCurdy has been performing for many years in Southwestern Ontario and the Midwestern United States as an actor, dancer, choreographer, and singer. As a teacher, she has been instrumental in creating programs that provide opportunities for children and youth.
