Feeling overwhelmed with your responsibilities? Losing sense of who you are? Looking for ways to reground and recenter? Join us for an hour or so of slow walking and gentle, guided meditative activities to help you feel present and connected to the world and your place in it.
What to expect:
When doing a wellness walk or a forest bathing session you can expect to walk short distances, and stand or sit for about an hour or so. Some sessions do go longer if the group requires more time to complete their meditation and activities. Dress appropriate for that day's weather, and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You will be invited to sit on the forest floor or on logs if you wish. In good weather and conditions, you are invited to try barefoot walking during grounding exercises.
What to bring:
Please bring a water bottle, a journal and pen, and a towel to sit on or in case your feet or shoes get muddy. Bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and a willingness to try something new for your mental and physical wellbeing! Light snacks and tea will be made available for you.
