The best meads are made from fresh fruit and raw honey. We source our ingredients locally whenever possible, and we never use low-quality additives or questionable ingredients. Our mead is aged on the lees for 9-12 months in an ambient temperature range of 65-75 degrees before bottling. Making mead the Old-School way- the simplest way the head mead maker has developed over the last 35 years.
Great Mead Hall is located in a historic building in the heart of Bangor at 215 W. Monroe St. Stop in and try one our small batch, authentic mead varieties, or purchase to enjoy at home. You are welcome to bring your own food to enjoy while sipping mead!
