The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Kim Wise to the Board of Directors. Kim is the System Employment Supervisor for Bronson Healthcare, the parent organization for Bronson South Haven. She fills the Chamber Board position formerly held by Mark Gross. “Kim brings diverse perspectives and experiences that will help to develop and serve the community of South Haven,” says South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Kathy Wagaman.
Kim is a lifelong South Haven resident who holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Lake Michigan College; a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing from Siena Heights University; and a Masters of Science in Management with a Human Resources Specialization from Indiana Wesleyan University.
In September 2007, Kim joined South Haven Health System in the Human Resources department, in October 2013, she was named the Human Resources Director, and in August 2015, she assumed responsibility over the system’s Marketing and Foundation departments. With the affiliation that took place in early 2017 between South Haven Health System and Bronson Healthcare, Kim’s role expanded yet again. As the System Employment Supervisor, Kim continues to support HR, Marketing, and Foundation functions at Bronson South Haven, but her new role also includes recruitment, onboarding, and employment compliance for the entire Bronson system.
Kim is deeply committed to volunteerism and giving back to her community. She is a member of Bethel Baptist Church; a Board Member and Treasurer for the National Blueberry Festival; the Race Director for the National Blueberry Festival 5K/10K; and she currently serves as one of the coaches for South Haven High School’s Robotics Team which allows her to mentor students, teaching them life skills that will help them when they enter the workplace.
Kim has been married to Ron Wise, Executive Director of South Haven Area Emergency Services, for 20 years and together they have two children. Kim states that she bleeds purple and gold (South Haven Public School colors), and that she is extremely proud of the fact that her children will be 4th generation graduates of South Haven High School.
