South Haven, MI – February 13, 2026- The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Chalkboard Kitchen, celebrating the restaurant’s new ownership and welcoming the business as a member of the Chamber community.

While the location may feel familiar to many in the community as the former Phoenix Street on Broadway, The Chalkboard Kitchen marks an exciting new chapter with refreshed leadership, renewed energy, and an updated culinary vision. The restaurant continues its tradition of serving guests in the heart of downtown while introducing a creative, evolving menu designed to keep things fresh and flavorful.
