Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a commitment to high standards of food safety and hygiene while supporting the culinary team.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing away used dishes, and resetting tables for new guests.
- Support food preparation by assisting chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and dining room, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Skills
- Previous experience in bussing or food service is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while providing excellent hospitality.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or culinary settings is beneficial.
