    Job Title: Delivery Driver – Linen Services (Hospitality & Food Service)

    Position Summary
    Lake Michigan Linen Services is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to support our lodging and food & beverage partners. This role is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery and pickup of linens while maintaining strong relationships with hospitality clients. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment where attention to detail and professionalism matter.

    Work Schedule
    • Full-Time: May through September (peak hospitality season)
    • Part-Time: October through April
    • Schedule flexibility is required, including holiday availability as needed to support customer operations

    Key Responsibilities
    • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up linens from hotels, property management groups, restaurants, and event venues
    • Load, unload, and transport heavy linen carts efficiently and safely
    • Move carts up and down ramps and into customer locations while following safety procedures
    • Utilize the company’s mobile app to review routes, monitor orders, confirm quantities, and manage shipping manifests
    • Verify deliveries and pickups for accuracy and communicate discrepancies promptly
    • Provide professional, friendly customer interactions and represent the company positively at all times
    • Communicate effectively with operations regarding service needs
    • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
    • Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and sanitation standards Requirements & Qualifications
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Chauffeur’s Permit required (company will cover the cost for qualified candidates who do not currently have one)
    • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., and push/pull at least 400 lbs. in carts, regularly
    • Physically capable of moving heavy linen carts and working in an active environment
    • Strong reliability, punctuality, and time management skills
    • Comfortable using mobile apps and technology to manage deliveries and documentation
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially with hospitality and food service partners
    • Flexible schedule with availability to work holidays as needed
    • Adaptable and team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility Preferred Experience
    • Previous delivery, logistics, or route-based service experience
    • Experience working with hotels, restaurants, catering, or event venues
    • Familiarity with linen services, hospitality operations, or commercial laundry environments

    Work Environment
    • Physically active role with frequent lifting, pushing, and walking
    • Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
    • Regular interaction with lodging, restaurant, and hospitality customers
